WASHINGTON- Aam AadmiParty (AAP) leaderArvind Kejriwalplans to hold hangoutswith his supportersin the USand Canada laterthis month, seekingcontribution fromthe Indian diasporafor nation building.Kejriwal would hold the hangouts on October20, a statement issued through Bay Areachapter of AAP, USA said.“We see expatriate Indians as an integralpart of India. They have plenty to contribute tothe country in terms of know-how and expertisein every possible field imaginable,” Kejriwalsaid in the statement.“Most importantly, they are eager to giveback to their mother land. We will leave nostone unturned when it comes to tapping intothis resource,” he said. “I am looking forwardto hosting this special get together at my homewith my friends and family. They are keen onhearing Arvind first hand. I am sure this willhave a ripple effect as they carry AAP’s messageto their respective circle of friends,” AAP volunteerin US, Mohan Thirumalai, said.We anticipate a significant turnout withthousands of attendees as volunteers reach outto their respective networks, a Chicago-basedorganization development consultant, ShaliniGupta said. Formally launched in November2012, the party is contesting its first election- the assembly polls in Delhi — in December2013.
