Former captain of the Canadian Cricket Team Ashish Bagai was welcomed back into the fold by Cricket Canada President Ravin Moorthy and Canada’s sports minister Bal Gosal who were joined by International Cricket Council President Alan Isaac, for the announcement in Toronto. Bagai has had a remarkable career with Team Canada and has played in 52 One Day Internationals (ODI), more than any other Canadian player. Indeed, he has played every Canadian ODI since he made his debut in the 2003 World Cup against Bangladesh.
