Entrepreneur Tinu Mathur Appointed To Burnaby Hospital Board Chair

BURNABY – Entrepreneur and former South Asian LINK (this newspaper) manager Tinu Mathur has been appointed to the Burnaby Hospital Foundation as Chair of the Board of Trustees.

He is joined on the board by Cheryl Carline, the new President and CEO of the organization, who was previously the CEO of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society for 11 years and Executive Director, and one of the founding members, of Leadership Vancouver.

Mathur, a fun, outgoing and talented young business executives from the current generation of South Asians in the field of business, first joined the Foundation’s Board of Trustees in 2011 and is currently the Vice President of Sales and Client Care at VRX Studios in Vancouver.

Mathur is excited to be taking on this new appointment as a volunteer leader, and is happy to be giving back to his community hospital. The LINK congratulates Mathur and wishes him well in all his endeavors!
