NEW YORK – Four Indians, led byICICI Bank CEO ChandaKochhar, have made theirway into Fortune magazine’sglobal list of top-50women business leaders,while PepsiCo chief IndraNooyi has been rankedsecond in a similar list forthe U.S.Kochhar has been rankedfourth, followed byNational Stock Exchangechief Chitra Ramkrishnaat 17th, Axis Bank’s Shikha Sharma at32nd and HSBC’s Naina Lal Kidwai at the42nd place among the Indians on theinternational list of most powerful womenin business.This list is topped by Brazilian energygiant Petrobras’ CEOMaria Das GracasFoster, followed byTurkish conglomerateSabanci Holding’sGuler Sabanci andAustralian bankinggiant Westpac’s CEOGail Kelly.Kochhar, MD andCEO of India’s largestprivate sector bank,has moved up oneposition from fifth on the 2012 list, whileNSE’s Ramkrishna has made it to the listfor the first time. Sharma and Kidwai wereearlier ranked 37th and 40th, respectively,on the list.
