Are you looking to jump-start a career in IT? Do you enjoy helping others learn to use technology?

Surrey Libraries and Google Canada are supporting 50 candidates to pursue the online Google IT Support Certificate for FREE.

The Google IT Support Certificate is a course that will train and qualify you to work in information technology (IT) as an entry-level tech support worker. The course is developed from the same training Google provides its own employees! Local technology companies recognize this as a valid certificate for tech support work.

Successful applicants will be enrolled in an 8 month program running March 1 to November 8, 2020. The program consists of 5 courses and includes online instruction and in-person learning facilitation. A commitment of 8 to 10 hours per week is required. With generous funding from Google Canada, participation is FREE and tuition, course materials, in-person instruction, and support are all included. In 2020, Surrey Libraries will be guiding 50 individuals through the program.

Jump start your career with an exciting new project from Google and Surrey Libraries!
