Happy International Women’s Day!

International Women’s Day is about celebrating women and the contributions they make in our everyday lives. Some remarkable women break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create environments where all women are valued and respected. In this issue, we celebrate two inspiring women from the South Asian community. One is Semiahmoo Secondary’s Taranpreet Dillon who won gold at provincial Wrestling championship (Read full story on Page 24) another is Tina Singh, the founder and CEO of Bold Helmets, who is recipient of this year’s Top 25 Women of Influence award.
