A special function was thrown by the local Haryanvi and Punjabi communities for Haryana Opposition leader Abhay Singh Chautala, who is the son of former chief minister Omprakash Chautala and grandson of Chaudhary Devi Lal, former deputy Prime Minister of India.
This is a rare visit for a Haryana leader and our own (from Link Newspaper and realtor) Shashi Madan played a big part in arranging the function as well as politico Gurpal Mangat.
Chautala is hoping for a comeback in the Punjab’s neighbouring state after years of rule by the Congress and now BJP, which Chautala told the large partisan crowd had failed Haryana and Haryanvis now want to see his party return to power.
