Members of the Helping Hand Society served free lunch to the homeless on Main and Hastings. These good deeds are being done by many Indo-Canadian organizations but still get no coverage in the mainstream, who are quick to do a story about some White family who collected $300 for something but completely ignore the good will done by the generous Indo-Canadian community.
