Dr Goel, President of Hindu Tempel Burnaby presenting an award to Vinod Joshi for his outstanding contribution to music in the form of singing Bhajans for the past 39 years. In recognizing and appreciating his contribution to Indian music since 1972, the M.C. for the Diwali Show (Held at Massey Theater on October22, 2011), Nutan Thakore noted Vinod Joshi’s special participation on T.V. and radio, both in his country of origin, Uganda as well as in Canada.
