SURREY – Surrey-based FROGBOX was created to fill a need for a convenient, cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative to using cardboard boxes for residential and corporate moving.
The company was founded in Vancouver in 2008 by Doug Burgoyne, who took his unique business pitch to the CBC business-venture show Dragons Den and was successful in gaining support from two Dragons – Brett Wilson and Jim Treliving.
They currently serve the Fraser Valley which includes Surrey, Delta, White Rock, Langley, Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.
The single location is run by Franchise owners Ken Harbut and Scott Pankratz. They will also serve people who are moving from the Valley to other parts of Canada.
“Our purpose is to make your move as easy and affordable as possible while minimizing the impact on the environment,” said company spokesperson Harjit Thiara “We provide eco-friendly reusable moving boxes and other moving supplies.”

“Not only do we provide our customers with environmentally friendly moving supplies, we also make a conscious effort to minimize our carbon footprint by optimizing our delivery schedule and using waste stream bio-diesel in our trucks.”
FROGBOX is currently marketing their services to the South Asian community and here are the reasons they say it is a worthwhile venture.

*Available for long term rental and is affordable (a four bedroom move gives you 70 Large boxes for two weeks for $280 including delivery fees.)
