Usually media shy, AbhishekBachchan these days hasbecome quite media savvy andlikes discussing everythingunder the sun be it about hiscareer, or about his darlingdaughter Aaradhya.When asked about signingfilms, he said he goes purely byhis gut and instinct. “I take justabout five minutes in decidingto sign a film,” said the actor,who is currently shooting forFarah Khan’s Happy New Yearwith Shah Rukh Khan andDeepika Padukone. “It is a difficultrole as there is lot of comedyand I find doing comedytough. In fact, being intense iseasier. I found those intensescenes in Sarkar Raaj easier, thecamera would pan on my faceand I could show intenseexpression,” explainedAbhishek.Giving example of AshutoshGowariker’s Khelenge Hum JeeJaan Se that didn’t work at thebox office, Abhishek justifiedby saying, “When I heard thestory I was completely bowledover but it is not only aboutbeing in the 100 crore club.”Further, talking about multistarrers,he said, “People ask mewhy I was doing multi-starrers…but even my dad did multi-starrers,didn’t he? There is nothingwrong in that.”And he looked quite happy talkingabout Aaradhya and raisingchildren. “I spend lot of mytime with my daughter. I feelevery parent should be patientwith their children and givethem time,” he said.Abhishek also expressed hisdesire to protect his daughterfrom the world of showbiz soas to offer her normal childhood.”Obviously, Aishwaryaand I would want our child tobe happy and healthy. I wasguarded from the showbiz andmedia attention so that I had anormal childhood. We wouldwant to let her to grow as a normalkid as well,” he added.
