CALGARY – The CalgaryPolice say that two Indo-Canadians found dead inside anortheast townhouse in Octoberwere the victims of a murder-suicide.The police made theannouncement on recently afterthey completed their investigation.They were called to an apartmentin the 200 block ofTemplegreen Drive N.E. onOctober 31 by the resident managerof the complex.
The managersaid that the pair who lived inthe unit hadn’t been seen orheard from for days before theincident.When police entered theunit, they found the bodies of27-year-old Amiben Prajapatiand 32-year-old Hiren Prajapati.Police say that Amiben wasthe victim of a homicide.She died as a result of a stabbing.Hiren died of asphyxiation.Amiben Prajapati is Calgary’s15th homicide of 2012.
