On April 13, 1919 The blood thirsty British massacred innocent men, women and children at Jallianwala Bagh (Garden) in Punjab, India. That brutal massacre involved the killing of hundreds of unarmed, defenceless men, women and children. In remembrance of that great sacrifice and in memory of innocent victims of Jallianwala Bagh, The Committee of Progressive Pakistani Canadians (CPPC) and Indo-Canadian Workers Association jointly arranged a candlelight vigil in Surrey’s Holland Park on Friday April 13th.
