There is a great lack of love, peace, harmony, forgiveness and compassion in the world. In spite of many well-meaning individuals and groups trying to foster goodwill through workshops, lectures, meetings, demonstrations and writings, violence and evil are rampant. Is there no hope for the betterment of the world? To make the world better each one of us has to turn to the great teachings of our spiritual teachers in order to achieve it. This has to be done sincerely and individually before it will be reflected universally.

June 2013 marks the 615th Jayanti of Satguru Kabir. The devotees of Kabir all over the world will be celebrating this event with one to three days of programs highlighting his teachings for humanity to realize the eternity of the soul, and it’s union with God. In fact, he taught that there is no separation between the two. It is fortunate for that person who realizes this unity because he will obtain liberation from the delusions, false perceptions, negativity, and bondage to materialism. His main purpose was to awaken the people to the Reality that they are, and to enjoy bliss in this life. And he talked with urgency because the souls are in bondage in the world, but they can be free with the right knowledge. He came to impart that knowledge. He taught that reading, memorizing and reciting the scriptures are not enough for realization of God. You have to delve within where God dwells as the Self – the Eternal Soul.

Here is a stepwise instruction by Satguru Kabir that will put us in touch with the source of the above attributes and enable us to realize the unity with God. It would be good to meditate on each point until its meaning becomes clear.

You are cordially invited, along with your family and friends, to join with us in celebrating this auspicious occasion of the 615th Jayanti of Satguru Kabir Saheb at the Guru Kabir Centre:
