Prominent South Asian writers of Metro Vancouver gathered at Acharya Dwivedi’s home on August 10 to honour the visiting Hindi scholar, novelist, short story writer and poet of great repute, Professor Dr Sudha Shrivastava from Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
A poetry recital session – Kavi Goshtthi – was organized in which the following writers participated: Sudha Shrivastava, Kulwant Singh Parmar , “Nadeem”, Dr. B.K.Singh, Ashok Bhargava, Kanti Dwivedi, Madhu Varshney, Anand Jain, Hardev Sodhi “Ashak” and Acharya Dwivedi.
Sudha was quite impressed and lauded the literary creativity of South Asian writers.
Kanti Dwivedi profusely entertained the guests with homemade snacks and sweets.
