KidsPlay Foundation focuses on supporting youth, by freeing them of financial barriers, and providing them with an abundance of culturally sensitive supports, we will see them succeed. Our six streams are: Sports, Mentorship, Environment, Counselling and Mental Health, Drug and Gang Education, Community Engagement.
The Leader House Conference aims to provide a holistic learning experience that equips youth with the tools and motivation to become responsible, effective, and empathetic leaders in various aspects of their lives.
KidsPlay Foundation, in partnership with Dr. Randeep Gill, hosted “The Leader House”, a high caliber leadership conference, providing a unique and inclusive learning experience. The panel of powerful speakers shared their personal stories of hardship, struggle, adversity, success and hope. Over $2000 dollars in scholarships were distributed to the youth in attendance.
This Leader House Conference offered a multifaceted learning experience that goes beyond traditional education. It provided a platform for skill development, networking, inspiration, and personal growth, all of which are crucial for the holistic development of the youth aspiring to become effective leaders.
The Leader House conference contributed significantly to skill development among youth. Through these workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions, participants acquire and hone essential skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and decision-making. These practical skills are not only crucial in leadership roles but also serve as invaluable assets in various aspects of life.
The experiential learning environment provided by this conference allowed youth to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios, enhancing their ability to navigate complex challenges.
