Canadian PM Mark Carney joined the Sikh community in Ottawa to perform seva at the Ottawa Sikh Society Gurdwara on the occasion of Vaisakhi, one of the most significant festivals in the Sikh faith.
Carney, accompanied by his wife Diana, took part in community service activities and shared heartfelt greetings with the congregation.
“It was an honor to do seva at the Ottawa Sikh Society this morning. Community and service are at the heart of today’s celebration,” Carney said.
“Diana and I wish a very Happy Vaisakhi to all Sikh Canadians celebrating across the country.”
