SURREY – Surrey RCMP advises that the 81 year old Gian Bassi who was reported missing on July 24th has been located deceased. The death is not believed to be suspicious. This file is now being transitioned to the BC Coroners Service. No further information is available at this time. Earlier police reported that Bassi was last seen wearing a grey South Asian traditional men’s suit. Police and family were concerned for his health and well-being. He was known to frequent the Guildford Town Centre.
