FATEHGARH – Hundreds of Congress workers thronged MLA Kuljit Singh Nagra’s office to congratulate him on his elevation to the post of Secretary, All India Congress Committee.
Nagra along with his supporters went to Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib and paid obeisance. Nagra said he was thankful to God and the party high command for having faith in him. He thanked Rahul Gandhi for making him a member of his team again.
He won 7 out of the 15 seats in the region in recently-held Block Samiti elections. Later, Nagra left for Delhi to thank the Congress high command and Rahul Gandhi.
