TORONTO – There were number of Indian restaurants across Canada including in BC that were shut down due to health violations.
One of the more prominent ones was Mississauga-based Tandoori Flame in Ontaro, which was also shut down for the same health infractios.
The restaurant is no means the cream of the crop when it comes to Indian food in Brampton, competition is stiff, but it’s a popular spot nonetheless.
But the restaurant, located at 8150 Dixie Rd, closed last week after failing to pass a Peel Health inspection.
The restaurant was forced to close by health inspectors after failure to keep non-food surfaces sanitary and clean, a failure to provide adequate protection against pests, and a failure to maintain good housekeeping practices.
The restaurant re-opened earlier this week after passing a re-inspection by Peel Health officials.
