VANCOUVER – Former Indian PM I.K. Gurjal passed away last week and the local Indian consulate while grieving his passing is also remembering him through a condolence book
“The Consulate General of India in Vancouver announces with profound grief the sad demise of Shri I.K. Gujral, former Prime Minister of India on November 30, 2012. The Government of India has announced State mourning for seven days from 30th November 2012 to 6th December 2012,” said a press release from the consulate.
A Condolence Book is being kept open at the Consulate General of India at #201, 325 Howe Street, Vancouver from 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 A.M. and 2.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M on December 5 and 6, 2012.
