BATHINDA – The wife of legendary folksinger Kuldeep Manak has been booked whilefour other persons were arrested today forallegedly trying to exhume his body on Sundaynight from a graveyard at his native Jalal villagehere. Among those arrested are Surinder Singhfrom Sarabha Nagar (Ludhiana), RajwinderSingh of Rai Khanna village and Binder Ramand Gurdeep Singh. Manak’s wife, Sarabjit Kaur,escaped from the site.Sarabjit reportedly wanted to raise Manak’smemorial at Jalaldiwal village near Raikot. This was opposed byJalal residents who offered land in a grain market.
