Surrey and residents from neighbouring communities who would normally use the Surrey Memorial Hospital Emergency Department are reminded that an Urgent Care Centre is now open 24/7 at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre, located at 9750 140th Avenue, Surrey. The Urgent Care Centre will be in operation while restoration work following a flood that caused significant damage to the SMH emergency department is completed. This work is expected to take approximately two weeks and the SMH emergency department will remain closed during that time.
