All human beings yearn for everlasting happiness as well as freedom from illusion. This is possible through spiritual search to get liberation from the worldly woes. To achieve that goal, grasp of deeper inversion-knowledge and practice is absolutely essential. Gurbani gives the necessary guidance if proper search is embarked upon, followed by learning the divine meditation technique. This implies the concentration on a certain object to such an extent that the person meditating gets transformed into that very object, losing all sense of his own identity. The process will efface the tint of ego in him that is root cause of all his problems and troubles. New spiritual life will then dawn to substitute the stale physical existence. One needs to make the God’s Will as one’s own. This means complete surrender to the Divine Will, thereby to truly abide in it. God’s Will is already wrought in our being but we are not conscious of this fact. So it is not a question of finding it or creating something new, but getting attuned to what is already there in us. There is a way of approaching our deeper inner realms which is inborn in our very existence but we are asleep and must become awake to recognize the reality. Awakening process needs to be learnt from a perfect Master who has himself attained such divine experience.

The principles of equality, fraternity, love, humility , brotherhood  and selfless service are the corner stones for the spiritual quest. Ethical living, honest earning, sharing with the needy, always remembering the Creator, are sine qua non for spiritual upliftment. In short, the whole world should be considered as a class of children in a school. The innocent kids are very affectionate. They love each other, irrespective of the cast, color, gender, nationality, financial status or any other distinction. Also, they work and play together under the apt  guidance of one teacher, without any hatred or ill will against anyone. Even when they happen to quarrel with one another, in no time they forget and forgive to patch up truly in very short time.

The inversion process of realizing the aim of human birth, viz. knowing ourself and realizing God, only starts after getting the initiation of the holy Word (Naamsabd) from experienced perfect Master. God power is the same as the Master power, there is no difference at all. At initiation, the Master takes away the heavy load of sanchit (accumulated) karma of previous lives, thereby giving second new birth to the initiate. The technique comprises of imparting Divine Light and Celestial Sound experience inside. This can be further developed by regular practice, at least for one tenth of a day’s time i.e. about two and half hours, preferably during early morning time called ‘Amrit Vela’. Daily practice burns the kriyaman karma that we accumulate every day through our senses. The pralabdh or fate karmas that we brought with us in this human life, are not touched upon, as we will die instantly if the fate karmas are removed. This way, we can get liberated from the karmic bondage and unite with Almighty in this very human birth.

In this Divine pathway, the five  spiritual planes have to be traversed that are exhibited in stanza 34 to 37 of ‘Jap ji sahib’ which are listed below:

1)                  Dharm khand or the plane of dutiful action. This is the gross physical realm with physical mind that abounds illusion, falsehood and ego, with little consciousness. Worldly attractions, allurements and vices are rampant. The Giver of this rare birth, blessings and all gifts, is altogether lost sight of. Three gunas, viz Sato, Rajo & Tamo, do have their forceful sway here. These obstacles can be overcome, with disciplined life style under proper guidance. No time should be lost to get engaged in this reality search.

2)                  Gian khand, the plane of immense enhancement of knowledge. This realm has astral body and astral mind. It is like a dream state where movement is much free, consciousness duly increased, illusion ego etc reduced accordingly. The devotee gets a glimpse of manifold nature with immutable laws and hears rapturous joyful music resounding throughout the whole creation.

3)                  Sarm khand or the plane of Ecastasy. Every thing here is so  enchantingly beautiful that baffles its description in words. In this region, the mind, reason and the understanding are etherealized, like a tired person gets refreshed in deep sleep. The causal body and causal mind feel marvelously peaceful. The traveling soul develops the penetration like that of the gods, sages and the siddhas.

The above cited three planes are governed by the Kalrai, the bestower of justice for these three worlds. He tries his best to keeps the entangled souls under his jurisdiction of birth and death system.  Here the Master helps his initiated souls to take bath in Amrit Srover or pool of  Nectar, purifying them and moving them upwards only. His initiated souls remain  under his control & not under Kalrai.

4)                  Higher still is the Karm khand or the very powerful plane of Lord’s Grace, where the holy Word called  Naamsabd, is all in all and nothing else prevails. Herein dwell the bravest of the brave, the conquerors of the mind, saturated with divine love & Grace. All here live beyond the reach of death. Material things, no longer blind their vision. They travel upwards and never fall in transmigration system any more. The devotee knows himself of the same essence as the Almighty. He sees all nature standing submissively to serve at the feet of the Lord.

5)                  Sach khand or the plane of Truth.

The formless Nirankar dwells in this realm and brings forth the whole creation duly rejoicing in the process of creating. Here are many regions, heavenly systems, and universes, to count which means counting the countless. Out of the formless, emerged the heavenly plateau and all else came into form, everything destined to move according to His Will. He, who is blessed with this vision, rejoices in his contemplation. Such is the beauty that to try to describe it is to attempt the impossible.
