SURREY – Local man Sukhi Khaira has been appointed to head Punjab Congress NRI Cell in BC.
He was appointed to the post ahead of the recently concluded Assembly elections in Punjab by Inder Dev Singh Musafir, Chairman – NRI Cell Punjab Pradesh Congress (PPC)
In a letter to Khaira, Musafir wrote: “I am pleased to appoint you as Chief Coordinator of the Assembly Election Campaign Committee (British Columbia) of the NRI Cell – Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.
“I hope that you will put your best efforts towards mobilizing the NRI Diaspora residing in ‘ to support and work for the victory of the Congress party in the forthcoming Assembly Elections of Punjab.
