My thanks to The Link for publishing the detailed story of Bhai Ghanaiya Ji in your paper date Sept. 23rd.He was the real founder of Red Cross. His dedication to humanity and service to the needy irrespective of cast or creed is a distinguished example during war.
Punjab Govt recognised his services and declared his birthday as Manav Sewa Diwas (Dayfor service to humanity).
This will serve as a great motivation for Indo-Canadian youth to serve the nation without any distinction. I also convey my thanks to Mr Balwant Sanghera for writing this article.
