VFS Global Revolutionizes Visa Services for Canadian Travelers

The government of Brazil recently announced that the Nationals of Australia, Canada and the United States will need a visitor visa (VIVIS) to travel to Brazil as of January 10th, 2024. If you are a citizen of these countries, you can request an electronic visa (e-Visa) and there is no need to go to the Consulate to have the document issued.
In a landmark collaboration, VFS Global and Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs have joined forces to introduce the cutting-edge electronic visa (eVisa) service for travelers from the United States, Canada, and Australia. This exclusive partnership aims to enhance the efficiency and convenience of the visa application process for those journeying to Brazil for business or leisure.
The innovative eVisa platform, launched by VFS Global after winning a competitive tender from Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, promises a streamlined and user-friendly experience. The platform, which went live on December 1, 2023, was developed within a remarkable three-week timeframe, meeting the stringent requirements set by Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
