Dear Editor,
I am voting YES for proportional representation because you get exactly what you vote for.
No longer will one party with a minority of the vote control a majority of the power.
Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland and many other successful developed countries use a system of proportional representation.
Proportional representation forces political parties to cooperate and collaborate instead of pushing a one-sided agenda that only a minority of the population supports.
Proportional representation will bring fairness to British Columbia politics and that’s the bottom line.
