Police in Ontario arrested a man with ties to Saskatchewan and Brampton wanted in connection with an Intimate Partner Violence investigation.
On Thursday, May 30, 2024, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Jagmohanjit Jheety, a 47-year-old man from Saskatchewan for the Criminal Code Offences like criminal harassment, uttering Death Threats.
Detectives had reason to believe that Jagmohanjit was in the Region of Peel and may have access to firearms and other weapons.
On Saturday, July 13, 2024, investigators located Jheety in Brampton and arrested him for his outstanding warrant. He was additionally charged for unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and attempted Murder.
He was held pending a bail hearing.
