SURREY – Surrey RCMP is continuing the investigation of a fatal collision which occurred on early Sunday morning on Nordel Way, east of 120 Street and they want to speak to witnesses who may have seen the before and aftermath of the deadly accident
Police said one person was killed when the vehicle they were a passenger in, collided with another vehicle and then struck a metal pole.
Investigators believe there are witnesses to this collision who have not yet spoken to police. Anyone with information urged to contact Surrey RCMP by calling 604 599 0502.
“We are not only seeking to speak to people who saw the impact of the collision, but anyone who may have seen the vehicles involved, driving prior to the collision.” said Cpl Elenore Sturko “We are also asking for any available dash-cam or cell phone videos.”
The man who was killed was a passenger in a Mustang that collided with a Camaro near Nordel Way and 120th Street just after 1:00 a.m. on September 8 before slamming into a hydro pole.
The driver of the Mustang is in hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, while the two men who were riding in the Camaro have minor injuries.
Police say it was raining heavily at the time of the crash.
