SURREY – Registration is nowopen for a public discussioncoming up on Feb. 4 on thefuture of Surrey hosted by NewDemocrat Surrey MLAs.”On Jan. 15, we proposed a fivepointapproach to improvinghealth and safety in Surrey,” saidSurrey-Newton MLA HarryBains. “Now, we want to hearfrom our neighbours. Does theSurrey Accord fit with theirvision of our city’s future?”Bains will join Surrey-GreenTimbers MLA Sue Hammelland Surrey-Whalley MLA BruceRalston in hosting the discussion,which will be held at theSurrey Arts Centre StudioTheatre on Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.Admission is free, and participantsare asked to register inadvance for the event atwww.surreyaccord.ca.”We want our plan torepresent the interests ofthe people of Surrey.
