CHANDIGARH – Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal directed Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana to provide free treatment to noted Sufi singer Barkat Sidhu. The latter is suffering from cancer. His condition is said to be critical.
An official spokesperson said the state government would bear the expenses on the singer’s treatment.
