Going to the movies can be a gamble.  Like opening a box of chocolates you just never know what you may end up with.  Keen investors take note: buy stock in Disney. Shareholders and movie goers alike will get many happy returns when (not if) they see Big Hero 6.  Perfect for all ages (including adults) this marvellous movie is now unfolding at Cineplex Odeon cinemas around B.C.

Once in a while the mouse kingdom gets it right.  Here the imaginations kicks into high gear as San Francisco gets an unbelievable future makeover with Japanese culture taking firm root.  Our story revolves around a young boy named Hiro Hamada. With a passion for robots. Against his elders wishes the boy tries to make a fast buck I a rather more mature yet equally sinful way.

Through the use of high tech the boy ultimately hones in on the benefits of higher education while  looking up to his rather studious older brother, a techie for sure. Family relations figure prominently in Big Hero 6 as a mischievous invention takes hold and becomes the driving force in  ultimate powerplay between good and evil.

Done in 3-d this animated treat features stupendous visual effects and an outstanding storyline showing the depths a family will go to save their own – and humanity. Emotions run high as Big Hero 6 pits a kid with some unusual rather homely side kicks against a corporate heavyweight, the U.S. Military and offbeat inventors.

Smart, stylish and with a marvellous storyline Big Hero 6 goes down as one of the best animated films ever made. Oh, and it’s a whole lot of fun to boot.
