I came from India just a few months ago and I moved here because I got married to a man my parents introduced me to. When he came to see me in India for the very first time, he seemed like a nice guy and he treated me very well. I agreed to marry him. After our marriage took place in India, he left back to Canada and I stayed back as I didn’t have proper documents to go to Canada. I came here 8 months later. Since I’ve been here, his behaviour has changed and he’s become very different and barely ever talks to me, he comes home late, never takes me out anywhere, I think he may have someone else. Since I’ve been here, he’s maybe talked to me a few times and nothing more. He’s also asked me to bring money from home. What should I do?
Well My Dear, this is a common situation and I’ve heard this story many times. It’s unfortunate that this happened to you! Please never ever be stuck in a relationship that serves no purpose because in the end you only end up hurting yourself. Marriage is a big decision so you better be ready for it! Don’t say “No” but say “Just not right now!”. Sometimes it’s how you COMMUNICATE, makes all the difference!
What should I do with my sister’s husband who keeps hitting on me? I cant tell anyone because my family is old school and will think that I led him on!
You should atleast tell your sister because in that sense, you’re not blamed later on! Tell one of the ladies in your family!
