Bad things can happen to good people. A team of researchers learn the hard way that it’s not nice to fool Mother Nature in The Lazarus Effect. Set forth by D Films this little thriller is freaking folks out at select Cineplex Odeon cites around B.C.

Much has been made about assistant suicide in modern times.  Contrast this with people who want to prolong life, not cut it short.  A group of naive researchers at a university stateside see the benefits of hard work come to fruition. This group of four with a  videographer in tow try to bring life back to dead animals. Sounds  freaky enough but then a host of unforeseen problems arise

Happy couple Zoe and Frank tempt fate when they become modern day Ponce de Leons. Depicted by Olivia  Wilde and Mark Duplass the stakes are high and the tension palpable as their lab becomes a killing ground. Nerves get frayed and emotions reach the boiling point as the medical team turn on each other in a race against time to stay alive,

Troubling with all sorts of ethical questions being posed, The Lazarus Effect hits its mark as a thriller whose soul gets wrapped up in making medical history – despite the consequences.
