Former Liberal MP Sukh Dhaliwal hosted star Liberal MP Scott Brison, the six time MP from Nova Scotia at the beautiful Eagle Quest Golf Course banquet hall. Dhaliwal is trying to recapture his old Surrey-Newton seat and the contest will be between Dhaliwal and NDP’s Jinny Sims with the Conservative newcomer Harpreet Singh playing spoil sport with little chance of winning as the reconfigured riding has lost most of the Conservative vote on the Delta side which no longer is part of the riding! So the key to winning the riding would be for both the Liberals and the NDP to keep their vote while not allowing the Conservative candidate to steal some votes from their respective base!
