FAZILKA – Furious over the alleged rape of his daughter by a youth, the father reportedly beat the accused to death at Chananwala village in the district.
The youth’s father, Joginder Singh, told the Sadar Police that the body of his son Sukhwinder Singh (20) was found near Karnikhera village last evening. He alleged his son was administered some poisonous substance being beaten to death by Bhajan Singh and his brother Mahal Singh.
Joginder alleged Bhajan Singh got a false case of rape registered against his son a month ago.
Both Bhajan Singh and Mahal Singh have been booked under Sections 302 and 34 of the IPC
Jagdish Kumar, SHO, said the post-mortem examination of the deceased was conducted at the local Civil Hospital today.
