Local Indo-Canadian community members were out in full force Tuesday night to the premier of the film 3st October at the Vancouver International Film Festival. The film powerfully depicts the genocidal violence that was perpetrated by the Rajiv Gandhi government on innocent Sikh following his mother’s murder by her Sikh bodyguards. Local entertainment impresario Kamal Sharma hosted the premiere.
