Heroin Worth Rs 20 Crore, Weapons Seized

BATHINDA – The police claimed to have arrested three smugglers and seized 4 kg heroin worth Rs 20 crore, Rs 22.8 lakh cash, three country-made weapons and six Pakistani SIMs from the accused.

Bathinda Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Swapan Sharma said the CIA staff II nabbed Fumman Singh and his brother Sandeep Singh, residents of Sirsa district in Haryana, and Bhupinder Singh of Paras Ram Nagar.

He said all three accused were involved in supplying heroin and illegal arms from the area near the Pakistan border to Punjab. The police arrested the trio from an unpaved way on the Pathrala to Nar Singh Colony link road.
