MUKTSAR – Apparently upset over a failed relationship, a 22-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Rajasthan Feeder canal on May 14.
The body of Jaspal Singh, a native of Gidderbaha, was found from the canal near Tharajwala village on Monday. Thereafter, acting upon the statement of the deceased’s family, the Lambi police have booked the girl in question and a friend of the youth on the charge of abetment to suicide.
