Surrey: One of the perks of living in British Columbia is that adventure is always waiting right outside your doorstep. British Columbians fill their summers with jam-packed weekend adventures including barbeques, picnics and the great outdoors.

The “must-be” destination of Summer 2016 is Surrey – offering the most parks per capita than anywhere else in the province. Because of the sheer volume of available parks in the Surrey city limits, you won’t need to elbow your neighbour out of your plot under the tree, there’s more than enough space for every park dweller.

Popular Surrey parks include Redwood Park, Tynehead Park, Blackie Split Park and Mud Bay Park, all perfect for family outings and filled with adventure and activities for people of all ages.
