New Newton Cross Will Help People Cross The Street Safely

The people residing in around often passing through 72 A Avenue and 124 Street no longer need to wait for any vehicle to stop. At the push of a  button on a controlled pedestrian crosswalk : means drivers are alerted when they see the flashing yellow light.

Surrey City Council voted in favour, along with the City of Surrey to have erected a new pedestrian crossing at 124th street. This was following many years that 124th street and 72nd Avenue as being the worst intersection for accident , which involved vehicles and people, Pedestrians and vehicles can now be more aware of each other, in circumventing accident.

After receiving new designated crossing paths people felt sigh of relieve because safety is prime concern for everyone.

New pedestrian crosswalk will be more blissful to many users. It is well known that  this area is extremely busy, especially during school hours, we need to be mindful of each other, no matter if we are commuters taking transit, people going to the Newton Athletic Park or attendees at a nearby mosque.

People are pleased to have new neighbourhood fearless crossing because it is safer, easier and quicker way to cross the street.

City of Surrey and the Surrey City of Council has done commendable job for making street safer with providing exclusive  style flashing light crosswalk.
