Canadian Eyesight Global Holds Successful Free Eye Health Clinic

RICHMOND – A successful Canadian Eyesight Global, Free Eye Health Clinic, supported by Rotary Club of Surrey-Guildford , was held at Nanaksar Gurdwara Gursikh Temple, was held on Sunday, March 25, 2018., Time 1:00-4:00pm at 18691 Westminster Hwy, Richmond. BC. Over 125 people eyes were checked by a team of  an eminent eye surgeon Dr. David R.S. Neima, MD, FRCS(C), Ophthl, Vice President, Overseas Programs, Canadian Eyesight Global, Dr. Warren Whitford and Dr. Alacia Remirez, OD, participated. The patients with eyes  problems were referred to the specialists and eye doctors for further investigation and treatment, and free eye drops were given to the needy people.

Special thanks were given by Anup Singh Jubbal, President, Canadian Eyesight Global to the  dedicated volunteers including Rtn. Norman Gluck, President, With his wife and children, Rtn. Garry Sass, Rtn. Fransisco Manalo, Rotary Club of Surrey-Guildford, Rtn. Satwant K.Ginder (Sangha), Director CEG, and volunteers Darshan Maan, Harchet Maan, Gurmail Dhaliwal, Sandeep Parhar, Neena Sohal, Saroop Jubbal, other dedicated volunteers participated and the management committee  of Nanaksar Gudwara Gursikh Temple, Richmond.

Canadian Eyesight Global, is a Canadian not-for-profit society, formerly known as Project Eyesight-India, successfully sponsored and completed over tens of thousands free cataract surgeries in rural parts of India since 1989. Canadian Eyesight Global  had started a program for organizing  Free Eye Health Clinics since 2003 on a quarterly basis in British Columbia. Thousands of people attended the Free Eye Health Clinics.
