Gone Are The Days, a powerful indictment of institutional racism in Canada, will make it’s world premiere at the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) on Monday, January 20. The Canadian elites talk a big game about fighting racism but what Dr. Hakam Bhullar and his colleagues did in fighting this absolutely abhorrent form of extreme racism and abuse was remarkable and a testament to the human spirit and the spirit of the IMMIGRANT. The film written, directed and produced by R. Paul Dhillon will begin rolling out on the international film festival circuit early next year. “We are so proud to tell this story that the Canadian establishment doesn’t want the world to see. SURREY – Writer-director-producer R. Paul Dhillon (Editor of The South Asian LINK) and his MMM Films produced powerful documentary on institutional racism in Canada will make it’s world premiere at the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) on Monday, January 20.

The film written, directed and produced Dhillon will begin rolling out on the international film festival circuit starting from it’s world premiere in Jaipur, India, which will be attended by dr. Bhullar to represent the film on behalf of MMM Films.
“We are so proud to tell this story that the Canadian establishment doesn’t want the world to see. Mighty is the Pen and the Camera,” said Dhillon, who couldn’t attend the India premiere but will accompany future festival screenings of the film.

“As you very well aware that we are organizing the 12th Jaipur International Film Festival from January 17th to 21st, 2019 at Inox, GT Central (Main Venue), JLN Road, Jaipur. We extend our invitation to you to participate as an Invitee to JIFF-2020.”
Gone Are The Days is the story of the epic struggle of Canadian-South Asian Veterinarians led by their leader Hakam Bhullar, who fought against institutional racism and abuse of power for more than decade against the very government body that regulates their profession.. It is a powerful story of heartbreak, perseverance and ultimately human triumph of the human spirit and a fight for justice to realize their Canadian dream against great odds.
