A woman, believed to be the mother of the suspect, was found dead Wednesday afternoon suffering from several stab wounds. Twenty-four-year-old Yeshudyan Ragbir is facing a first-degree murder charge.
TORONTO – A 24-year-old South Asian man has been charged in connection with the murder of a woman, who is believed to be the mother of the suspect, found in the Toronto’s east end.
The suspect identified as Yeshudyan Ragbir is facing a first-degree murder charge, reported CP 24.
The homicide took place Wednesday afternoon inside a home near Village Greenway and Parkway Forest Drive area, near Fairview Mall.
Police say when they arrived at the scene around 4:40 p.m., the victim was found on the floor without vital signs and suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Investigators have chosen to withhold her identity for now but a source told CP24 that the victim and suspect are mother and son.
