ABOHAR – Upset over strained relations with his wife, Balwinder Singh (42) a brick kiln labourer, served soft drink mixed with poison to his two sons and then consumed poisoned whisky last night at Jaitsar segment of Sriganganagar in Rajasthan.
DSP Madan Singh Burhok said investigation indicated Balwinder was a habitual drinker and wasted his earnings on liquor. This had strained the relations with his wife Veerpal Kaur, who reportedly went back to her parents in Goluwala recently.
