Infrastructure Improvement!

Nina Grewal, MP (Fleetwood-Port Kells), on behalf of the Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, joined with the federal government’s funding partners to mark the final completion of the Roberts Bank Rail Corridor infrastructure improvement projects. “Seven years ago, our government joined with our public and private sector partners to launch the Roberts Bank Rail Corridor projects with $307 million in funding,” said Grewal. “Today we are marking the completion of all nine projects along the corridor, including two projects in Surrey totalling $41 million. This unprecedented government and industry partnership has built a rail corridor that enhances our transportation and trade links to the Asia-Pacific region while improving safety and liveability for local communities.”
