The month of November brings very sad memories to us about 1984 Sikh Genocide when thousands of innocents were killed by mobs led by ruling Congress party and supported by police and ruling Govt. in India. The Sikh community worldwide pay homage to the lost lives and demand justice for the victim families.

Sikh Nation has taken a very good step to pay homage to the lost lives by donating blood to save lives. Sikh Nation started this great drive of Blood Donation in 1999 in Vancouver city in Canada. But soon this drive became popular and Sikh community in other cities in Canada joined the Blood Donation drive. And the Sikh community through out Canada has been donating blood. And by end of 2015 this Sikh Nation’s Blood Donation drive has helped save 113,000 lives in Canada. That is great way to pay homage to innocent lives lost in 1984 Sikh Genocide. And also let the bad ruling Govts. know that Sikhs don’t kill but help save lives.

Now slowly this Blood Donation drive is getting more and more popular. And Sikhs in many other countries have joined the movement and started donating Blood to save lives. And it also make the general public and media aware of the1984 Sikh Genocide.

We all thank the volunteers of Sikh Nation who started this great drive of Blood donation. Over the years they have donated lots of their time in various cities to get more and more Sikhs join the movement to donate blood. Every year we see new faces of people coming into donate blood. The best thing is more and more youngsters are coming into donate blood and work as volunteers in this drive. This is something that gives lots of strength to this movement and hopefully will keep this great drive going for many many more years in future.

Once again lots of thanks to all the volunteers working in this great Blood Donation drive. Continue this great drive to help save lives.
