Police across the provincehave officially launched theirsummer CounterAttack campaignto stop drinking anddriving, and this year policeacross the Lower Mainland areconducting road side checksby bridges as well as BC’shighways.During the kick-off to the2013 Summer Counterattackcampaign, police in RCMPpolicedjurisdictions in theLower Mainland charged approximately100 drug and alcohol impaired drivers.”Those are bitter sweet results.It’s definitelyfrustrating knowing that peoplestill drink or take drugs, and then getbehind the wheel.
