CHANDIGARH – Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann said here on Tuesday that contrary to the claims of various political outfits, not a single “honest” pro-Khalistan activist or sympathiser settled abroad was providing any kind of support to the AAP.
Mann alleged that all those pro-Khalistan NRIs, who were openly supporting AAP, were actually Sikh militant-turned-police informers, who were helped by security agencies to get settled abroad. “It is being rumoured nowadays that a large number of pro-Khalistan NRIs are supporting AAP both ideologically and financially. This is not true,” Mann added.
Significantly, both the Congress and the SAD-BJP are regularly targeting AAP claiming that Kejriwal was hobnobbing with pro-Khalistani elements.
